"Recently redone and opened. Decor is pleasant. There is a very expansive menu. It's typical AmeriMexican fare, very well executed. We were seated quickly and brought chips and drinks. I ordered the Burrito Bandera, very nice with chicken, steak and chorizo covered with red, white, and green sauce, à la the Mexican flag. Nice rice and salad with avocado on the side. The kitchen was very quick to get our food out. Good job all around!"

"I went to Jefes by El Jaripeo for the first time today and was was very happy with the experience. They took over the old truck stop restaurant and completely renovated it to the point I don't even recognize the inside as the old restauant! I got a steak fajita and their horchata, both of which were amazing. My brother got a cheese steak quesadilla which he also loved, he got a margarita that was very strong so you definitely get your money's worth. Portion sizes were pretty big overall, I have enough left over for a second meal. The employees were all very kind and they gave great service. I will definitely be coming back in the near future!"
